Our Property
Our log cabin rental on the Allegheny Front is more than a rental; it is a vacation experience. Your experience here is as unique as you and your interests are. Your hosts are dedicated to making your stay relaxing and pleasant as possible and are always available if a need or want arises.
You can stay on the 50-acre property for a staycation. As you approach the cabin you will see the view that goes on for hundreds of miles. You are right on the front of the Allegheny Mountains where bald eagles and golden eagles fly at eye level along with many birds of prey. There are developed nature trails that encompass the property for walking and biking, bordered by wildflowers, a picnic area and a fire pit.
The cabin interior displays a nature photography gallery by professional award-winning photographers Mike and Laura Jackson. It is truly a one
of a kind place where most of our guests stay for their entire vacation.
Star gazing is an excellent opportunity on premises.
Hunting is permitted on premises. Fishing is just minutes away. A rare upland bog, native trout, Lewis Spring and Gravity Hill are only minutes away. You can take day trips with several stops such as The Bedford Historical Society, Blue Knob State Park, Or Visit the site of the Lost Children of the Alleghenies. Enjoy dinner at Places like Jean Bonnet Tavern, 9 Mile Tavern, Hoss's Steakhouse, Red Lobster and more! Then be back for an evening picnic and campfire.
